Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering Illinois Biology
Award, 1995-97 The organization, known as the
Junior Engineering and Technological Society, held competitions between
high school students across the state, testing their knowledge in various
academic areas. Won first place for the state of Illinois for my knowledge
of biology in both 1995 and 1996, and won third place 1997. Also won
fourth place for English in 1995.
Illinois Association FFA Section Five Star Agribusinessman,
1997 One of five nominees in the state for the Illinois
Association State Star Agribusiness Award, given based on interviews and
financial records kept on my own lawn care business from 1994 to
1997.
